On creates high end show for Wella

We worked closely with Jon Kelly and the team at Meet and Potato to create a series of roadshows, launching Wella’s revolutionary new System Professional range of hair care products, which fuses styling with care to achieve a new level of hair perfection.

On Event Production Co. provided stage, lighting, sound, video and technical support for the event, which was organised for leading salon owners and took place at a series of high profile venues across the UK, including the Sanderson Hotel in London, the Wella Studios in Manchester and other locations in Edinburgh and Dublin.

The centrepiece of the event stage was a custom fabricated test tube sculpture – a lighting feature built from acrylic and aluminium, with spray finished MDF and glowing Edison light bulbs for a contemporary finish.

On also handled the logistics support for a series of exhibition areas, each of which followed a different theme – from fragrance, to hair care products and a colour mapping and energy zone.

Feedback from Wella and Meet and Potato has been fantastic – they were particularly impressed by the exceptionally high level of detail that the team at On demonstrated throughout the production of the event.

Commenting on creating their first event for Meet and Potato and Wella, Guy Eaton, managing director of On, said:

“Working alongside our new friends at Meet and Potato and a global haircare brand like Wella was a fantastic opportunity.

“Wella are currently developing some ground-breaking products and it’s tremendously rewarding to work on projects like this for them. This was a real exclusive event – only people who owned at least two salons were invited – and it really gave the impression that we were part of something special.

“We are currently working with Meet and Potato on a mini-roadshow, also for Wella, and look forward to more collaborations like this in the future,” added Guy.
