A little earlier this year we supported leading PR agency Cirkle PR with the construction and installation of a miniature TV studio at their offices in Old Beaconfield in Buckinghamshire.
The project included the design and installation of a stage, equipped with furniture, backdrop and an LED lighting rig.
The stage and set were designed to fit into a fairly tight space in their office. The backdrop included three drop-down graphics from the roof which created a simple method to set the scene for a video shoot. This included the production of three backdrops – a news backdrop, London backdrop and a green screen that is used to superimpose graphics and video in post-production.
As the studio was quite small, heat from the lights was a consideration, so we opted to install an LED lighting rig, as this is a low heat and low power option. This lighting rig included a moving rail system with the lights dropping down on to pantographs, in order to easily focus each fixture.
The TV Studio is being used for a training programme that is currently being rolled out by the PR team at Cirkle, whose portfolio includes more than 90 household brands,
We have teamed-up with Cirkle PR a few times over the past 12 months – Originally working with the agency to handle full event production for the launch of the new Mr. Kipling production line for their client Premier Foods and more recently working with them to create an eye-catching temporary installation for Ambrosia, world famous for its creamy rice puddings and custards.
Speaking about the project, Chris Vernon-Smith, technical director at On, said:
“It’s always a pleasure to work alongside the team at Cirkle PR to produce exciting stage sets and installations.
“We’ve worked with the company a number of times in the past and they always embrace our ideas and allow us to be really creative.
“We look forward to working with them again in the near future,” added Chris.
