Here at On, we’re passionate about providing meaningful employment and training opportunities for young people and as a result, we’ve decided to recruit another apprentice to join our technical production team.
Since relocating to our new purpose-designed premises in Castle Donington in October 2015, the company has gone from strength-to-strength.
Appointing an apprentice represents our continued commitment to training and development and the nurturing of fresh talent within the business.
The successful candidate will become an assistant in our busy warehousing department. Working under the supervision of our warehouse manager, Iain Hunt, the new recruit will be given every opportunity to develop their skills and expertise during the two-year apprenticeship learning about the various facets of the technical production industry.
Other new posts are set to be created over the coming months, which will enable us to cope with increasing demand from our established network of clients, which ranges from agencies to end-users.
Commenting on the company’s commitment to staff development, Chris Vernon-Smith, technical director of On, said:
“We are committed to giving young people the opportunity to learn a profession and progress within the company and will provide the new recruit with on-going training to enable them to develop and flourish here.
“We take real pride in watching our staff develop and look forward to announcing the appointment of our new apprentice in the coming weeks.“We plan to continue our growth over the next 12 months, with more job opportunities for local people,” added Chris.
