On Event Production Co. were invited to provide the main stage lighting system for Splendour Festival again this year, which recently took place at Wollaton Park in Nottingham
2015 sees the eighth successive year that we have worked on the event, which this year featured some of the best known names in the music business, including The Specials, Bananarama and James.
On provided a full festival lighting system and our technical event production specialists liaised with all the bands and artists to make sure all their individual requirements were met. We have worked with the team at Nottingham City Council since the first Splendour festival was staged in 2008 and have supported a diverse range of big acts including Dizzee Rascal, Scissor Sisters, Blondie, Calvin Harris, Pet Shop Boys and Paolo Nutini.
This years’ festival also enabled us to showcase the very latest additions to our hire equipment stock with the Clay Paky Mythos advanced lighting hybrid units, along with the revolutionary new Chauvet Rogue R2 LED wash lights.
Commenting on the event, Pete Copeland, production manager at On, said:
“We all thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Splendour Festival again. Over the years, Splendour has developed a reputation for bringing international artists to Wollaton Hall and it’s brilliant to work with so many talented artists in such a fantastic setting.
“We look forward to working with DHP, Nottingham City Council, Rory and his team in the future,” added Pete.
