KH Hair 2017 glittering awards ceremony

KH Hair, one of the Midlands’ leading hairdressing groups, enlisted On Event Production Co. to help deliver its glittering 2017 awards dinner at The Roundhouse in Derby recently.

Having helped to bring the company’s 2015 and 2016 awards ceremony to life, we were thrilled to be appointed to handle the creative production for this year’s awards too – Moreover, we were determined to make it their biggest and best event yet.

Long Eaton-based KH Hair is one of the best known chains of hairdressing salons in the region, with 22 salons across three counties.

Its glittering awards dinner is the highlight of its annual events calendar, recognising excellence amongst the group’s staff and salons and celebrating its latest fundraising efforts. 300 of the group’s staff were invited, along with VIP guests from Wella and the company’s charity, ChildLine.

Our creative production and set fabrication teams worked alongside the creative team at KH Hair to design and manufacture a bespoke, atmospheric stage set for the event, featuring imagery of the late Keith Hall taken from old archive photos.

The event kicked-off with a moving tribute to founder Keith Hall MBE, who passed away in May 2016, aged 94. This was followed by a stunning catwalk show by the KH Hair Art Team, before the 22 awards were given out to the group’s top performers.
