There was a touch of The Great Gatsby about the stunning environment that we helped to create in collaboration with leading agency Collective Minds a little earlier this summer.
On Event Production Co. provided full technical production for the event, a lavish staff awards ceremony for Aurum, the holding company for various designer jewellery and watch brands, which took place in the Woodlands Suite at the Belfry in Sutton Coldfield, near Birmingham.
More than 150 guests from across the UK attended the event, which celebrated the top performing retail staff from across the Aurum Group.
The Deco Pop concept, was inspired by a vintage 1920’s theme, and was created by the team at Collective Minds to give the event a classic and celebratory tone. The concept was carried right through to set design and On worked closely with Collective Minds, guiding on materials, fixtures and production methods to deliver a finished result that surpassed the client brief.
Specialist lighting fixtures, including Robe PATT 2013 and PicklePATT, were used to replicate the period lighting. We also utilised an array of vintage theatre fixtures to capture an authentic 1920’s feel. Pantographs were hung from the ceiling to create a more authentic experience and to provide added dimension to the venue.
Our experienced team professionally constructed and de-rigged the entire set in just one day, with our events crew starting at 8.00am and completing the set ahead of the 3.00pm deadline.
