On projects French Flag on to Nottingham Council House to honour Paris attack victims

We were more than happy to help the events team at Nottingham City Council, which wanted to show its support to the French capital.

We were charged with the task of lighting up the Council House in Market Square in the red, white and blue of the French tricolour flag to pay tribute to the 130 people who tragically lost their lives in the attack.

Commenting on their relationship with Nottingham City Council, Guy Eaton, managing director of On, said:

“We have worked with Rory Minor and his team for many years now, so when we got the call asking us to project the French flag onto the Council House, we reacted immediately.

“Fortunately we had all the equipment we needed at our new facility at Castle Donington and were able to complete the light show within 24 hours.”

Rory Minor, technical officer for Events at Nottingham City Council, added:

“I want say a BIG thank you to the On team for pulling out all the stops to make this last minute request happen. I know why I can always rely on you guys…

On behalf of my section and Nottingham City Council, please pass on heartfelt thanks to all involved.”
