THE CHALLENGE: We were approached by Toyota Motor Manufacturing to assist in the production of a “Start of Production” event to celebrate the manufacture of Toyota’s latest model at the factory in Derby. The eyes of the media were upon us as Vince Cable ceremoniously declared the production line open.
INSPIRING AN AUDIENCE: The first surprise to amaze the audience was the conversion of the factory into a stage. The second, the spectacular sound, lighting and video sequence held at the end of the production line unveiling the first new cars to come off the production line. The final surprise, converting back the stage to a factory, 10 minutes after the ceremony, to ensure that cars could continue to be rolled off the line and the factory was ready to go.
