Bespoke Fabrication
Earlier this year we teamed up with leading communications and design agency Alive! to work on a special project at the iconic headquarters of Wesleyan Assurance Society in Birmingham city centre providing bespoke fabrication and fit-out.
We were charged with the task of transforming one corner of the company’s reception area into an interactive zone to demonstrate the firm’s impressive portfolio of community and charity activities.
Alive! handled the overall design of the project, with On responsible for the bespoke fabrication and fit-out of the ‘Charity Corner’, which consisted of vibrant graphic-wrapped walls, funky furniture, TV display, colourful shelves and light boxes based around the firm’s distinctive corporate colours of orange, grey and purple.
The end result is an eye-catching and informative display zone that records the firm’s charitable efforts, including information about its very own Wesleyan Foundation, a £1 million fund which provides financial support to causes that are important to members, customers and the communities in which they live and work.
Speaking about the project, Guy Eaton, managing director of On, said:
“We’ve known Alive! for a while now, but this is the first time we’ve worked together and what a fantastic project it was to collaborate on.
“Both the Alive! and Wesleyan teams were really great to work with and we were able to bounce ideas off each other before developing the final concept.
“The project was conceived, designed and completed within a three week period. As well as providing a real focal point for the reception area, it will keep visitors occupied when they visit the company’s headquarters!”
