Health & Safety Policy Statement
Our health and safety goals
It is the objective of On Event Production Co. to ensure that it satisfies its duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act, 1974 and other pertinent legislation and achieves the highest possible standards with regard to health, safety and the environment in all of the company’s activities.
Our health and safety objectives
On Event Production Co. will ensure that all activities carried out on the business premises or undertaken by its staff and contractors away from the main premises are suitably assessed, managed and conducted safely.
In support of the above statement and the need to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and any other requirements, On Event Production Co. and all its employees will:
- Promote employee cooperation, communication, consultation and participation in health and safety matters,
- Intervene when concerned about the health and safety of an activity or decision and seek advice and support when necessary,
- rovide a safe and healthy working environment with safe means of access and egress,
- Give adequate information, instruction, training and supervision to enable all employees, visitors and contractors to operate safely without endangering themselves or anyone else,
- Ensure safe vehicles, equipment and systems of work throughout On Event Production Co.,
- Make provisions for the safe use, handling, storage, transport and disposal of equipment, materials, chemicals and substances,
- Complete suitable and sufficient risk assessments to adequately control the risk associated with work activities undertaken on the premises or by On Event Production Co. employees wherever they are working,
- Follow procedures to ensure that only competent contractors and suppliers are engaged by On Event Production Co.
To assist with the implementation of the Health and Safety Policy, appropriate external sources of information will be consulted to advise on health and safety matters
This policy will be reviewed annually as a minimum.

Our policy
ON recognise and confirm our commitment to our employees, contractors and trainees in so far as our obligations under the Health and Safety at Work regulations.
We will endeavour to ensure the following:
- All staff will be aware of the company’s H&S Policy.
- All staff to be aware of the location of first aid equipment and the correct procedures for dealing with and reporting accidents.
- All staff will be aware of the location of fire fighting equipment, alarms and the correct procedures for dealing with emergencies and evacuation.
- All staff will be made aware of the procedures for reporting defects.
- Good house-keeping will be encouraged to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- All tools and machinery will be checked and maintained in good working order.
- staff will be encouraged to put forward for discussion any proposals for improving existing situations.
- All staff will be made aware of our Risk Assessment Programme and their duties within these regulations.
- All members of staff, in whatever capacity i.e. full time, part time, sub-contractor or trainee will be issued with the complete H&S documentation as relating to ON. The documents will be explained and feedback encouraged.
- As a company, we will undertake to review our policy on an annual basis.
Responsibilities
Our Health & Safety Office is: Iain Hunt, (Warehouse & Operations Manager).
Overall and final responsibility for Health & Safety in the company is that of: Mr Guy Eaton, (Managing Director).
Our current Health & Safety Policy is reviewed and supported by Harrier UK Ltd
All employees have the responsibility to co-operate with managers to achieve a healthy and safe workplace and to take reasonable care of themselves and others. Whenever an employee or manager notices a health or safety problem that they are not able to put right, they must inform the Managing Director.
