On Event Production Co. recently reaffirmed commitment to maintaining the ISO 9001 quality management accreditation and are now working towards the new 9001:2015 standard.
ISO is a quality management system (QMS) for organisations that want to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet the needs of their customers and other relevant stakeholders.
We were originally awarded the ISO 9001 accreditation at the end of 2014 in recognition of our excellent quality management principles – notably our processes and controls, strong customer focus, the motivation of top management and commitment to continuous improvement.
Now, we’re working towards achieving the new 9001:2015 standard, which varies greatly to the prior 9001:2008 accreditation, and are due to be assessed by assessors from the British Assessment Bureau (BAB) in November.
The programme is being headed-up by operations director Paul White, together with managing director Guy Eaton. In order to pass our assessment, we will need to take a holistic view of the company and demonstrate how On operates to the highest levels of professionalism and competence.
Sharing why On Event Production Co. are reaffirming their commitment and working towards the new ISO 9001:2015 standard, Paul White, operations director of On, said:
“ISO 9001 is designed to help companies maintain and improve the quality of their products and services, which in turn bring many business benefits and helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services.
“Working towards ISO reaccreditation under the new standard will ensure there is consistency and professionalism throughout the business and reinforce our already strong reputation for delivering high standards of service throughout the live events market.”
Guy Eaton, managing director of On, added:
“It will also help us to stand out from our competitors, improve efficiency, engage our staff and save money in the process”.
