We’re delighted to let you all know that we’ve continued our planned expansion programme with the creation of six new posts at our Castle Donington headquarters.
Following our relocation in October 2015 from Long Eaton to new purpose-designed premises on the Trent Lane Industrial Estate in Castle Donington, we have appointed six new members of staff across all levels of the business.
The appointment of new production manager, Jake Moore, is a key appointment for the company. Jake has been in the industry for many years and has a wealth of experience in live events.
He is joined by production engineers, Jake Roberts, Grant Williams and Chris Thornton-Smith, production assistant Dafydd Rees and junior production manager, Chloe Brentnall.
Our growth plans were given a boost in May 2015 when we were awarded a loan of £182,000 and a grant of £100,000 from the Derby Enterprise Growth Fund (DEGF), which supports growth and job creation in businesses in Derby and the surrounding area.
The funding enabled us to carry out the fit-out of our new headquarters and further expand our in-house fabrication department at the 15,000 ft2 premises, which is double the size of our previous accommodation.
It also allowed us to purchase a range of new equipment, which will ensure we are able to maintain our exceptional levels of service.
We have exciting plans for the future and have laid the foundations for the next phase of our strategic development with two key changes to the board of directors. Adam Dewhurst, one of our longest-serving employees, has been promoted to the role of production director, with a new post of technical director being created for Chris Vernon-Smith.
A number of other new jobs are set to be created over the coming months, which will enable us to cope with the increased demand from our established network of clients, which ranges from agencies to end-users.
Commenting on the company’s continued growth, Guy Eaton, managing director of On, said:
“We are delighted to welcome all the new members of staff to the team at On.
“We have recruited some hugely experienced people, who will help us to reinforce our position as one of the region’s most creative event production companies and provide a competitive edge over our rivals.
“2015 was a very busy year across our production, roadshow and fabrication divisions and we’re now geared up for an even more successful 2016”, added Guy.
The talented team of production managers, designers and technicians here at On Event Production Co. provide production management and creative technical solutions for live events across the UK.
We plan to continue our growth over the next 12 months, with more job opportunities for local people.
