It was a night to remember for the On team last night as we won the Production Award at the national Event Awards.
Managing director Guy Eaton and production director Adam Dewhurst were presented with this prestigious award at a glittering awards ceremony, which took place at London’s iconic Hammersmith Eventim Apollo.
The Event Awards celebrate the very best in brand experiences and honour the fantastic suppliers that aid the delivery of excellence. The awards have become one of the most highly sought after accolades in the industry, with more than 300 entries this year from agencies, brands and partners.
In order to scoop the Production Award, we had to beat off extremely tough competition in the form of the Maestra Group, The Broadsword Production Group, The Icebox and Hawthorn.
We had to demonstrate to the judges that we go above and beyond the call of duty to improve live events through our own services and have been instrumental in the rig and de-rig of stages, something we strive to do with every project we deliver.
This fantastic news follows a busy 12 months for On, during which we have relocated to a new, purpose-built premises in Castle Donington and expanded our operation with a series of key promotions and appointments.
Commenting on winning the prestigious award, Guy Eaton, said:
“To be shortlisted in the production category at the Event Awards was a massive achievement in itself, but to win this award has blown us all away and we’re absolutely ecstatic.
“We were up against some really stiff competition from some very high profile production companies, so to be recognised by our peers is absolutely fantastic and a reflection of the hard work and dedication that is put in by the whole team here at On day-in and day-out.”
