THE CHALLENGE: To create the interactive experiential centrepiece of a huge kit launch for Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur football clubs, for sportswear manufacturer Nike. We were delighted to team up with our good friends at Ear to the Ground to help them deliver a fully-immersive football and running extravaganza for Nike. We provided the construction design, manufacture, sound, lighting and effects for the event, at The Sports Direct Stadium in Newcastle.
INSPIRING THE AUDIENCE: The launch took its inspiration from the humble players’ tunnel, and we were tasked with creating two distinct, visually stunning tunnels in which the experience could take place. We fabricated and finished the two huge football activity-based tunnels with coloured LEDs and strip lights to add to the drama of the event as the big unveil unfolded. In one, Nike unveiled its latest range of kit, and in the other, there were a series of football and running-related challenges for guests to take part in, including penalty kicks and timed sprints around various obstacles.
