On Event Production Co. has been shortlisted for the AV/Production Company of the Year award for our recent work on the high profile Virgin Media Business Pitch to Rich competition and will now go head to head with Absolute Audio Visual, DB Systems Ltd and Midland Conference Services to claim the title.
The winners will be announced at a glittering black tie ceremony on Wednesday 2nd December at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square.
On Event Production Co. were commissioned by London events agency, The Moment Content Company, to provide full production and design the stage sets for the launch and UK wide heats of this year’s Virgin Media Business Pitch to Rich competition, followed by a show-stopping set for the grand finale event.
Our creative and technical production teams created an eye-catching set for the launch and roadshows, which took place at various venues including Gorilla in Manchester, The Basement in Brighton and Cardiff’s Millennium Centre.
We also handled full technical production for the grand finale, which took place at Second Home in Shoreditch. Our technical event specialists created a dramatic stage set comprising of 50 boxes of various sizes, complete with printed graphics, some of which were illuminated.
Boxes were strategically placed in the bar and reception area, as well as outdoors. Guests arriving at the venue were also greeted with a piece of eye-catching pavement artwork. The set was completed with a backdrop constructed using a series of 55″ and 95” HD LED digital display screens with LED display panels.
The UK Event Awards, which are organised by The Drum, recognise and reward event organisers, suppliers and event marketers. Now in their sixth year, the awards are one of the most sought after accolades in the industry.
Nominees for the other categories include Coca Cola Enterprises, Oxfam and the Ricoh Arena.
Commenting on reaching the finals for the second time, Guy Eaton, managing director of On, said:
