On works alongside Pearls & Poison to promote Black History Month

We provided sound and lighting for a unique evening reception at the Haymarket Hotel in London to celebrate Black History Month.

The event was staged around the exclusive Haymarket Hotel’s new pool, with painted picket fence and lavish flower arrangements, which provided an intimate setting for guests to show pride in their culture.

After networking and cocktails, guests were treated to a special performance by the London Community Gospel Choir.

We also installed a small stage and PA system for the various speeches and presentations that took place throughout the evening.

Commenting on the event, Chris Vernon-Smith, production director at On, said:

“This was the first time we’ve been asked to produce an event like this and it was a real pleasure to work with Russell and the team at Pearls & Poison to create such a visually stunning event.

“It was great to work on such an exciting, unique project celebrating an incredibly important culture and we look forward to collaborating with Pearls & Poison again on future events.”

Black History Month celebrates and recognises the individuals who have contributed so greatly to black culture.
