THE CHALLENGE: The unusual ones always stand out and the Big Chill Festival was definitely unusual! The aim was to break the Guinness world record for the biggest number of zombies in one place. So, the brief was to create an immersive experience with a zombie theme.
INSPIRING AN AUDIENCE: Working closely with film makers, Warp, On created the Dereliction Drive-in Movie Theatre where revellers could sit and watch late night movies on the huge outdoor projector screen. The area was atmospherically lit and strewn with abandoned cars (each with its own paint job), we even placed speakers in the car boots to create individually controlled surround sound.
