Supporting the Selenium European Conference 2017 in Berlin

A technical team from On headed over to the German capital of Berlin recently to help global tech giant Selenium Software Freedom Conservancy to deliver its Selenium European Conference to more than 600 delegates.

We teamed up with our friends at White October Events to deliver the event, which ran over two days at Urania, an iconic landmark in the city dating back to 1888.

The event, which was spread across two rooms in the venue, featured a host of keynote talks and presentations from experts in the web technology, automation and analytics sectors.

Selenium is the world’s leading portable software testing framework for web applications and is used by developers across the globe.

The two-day conference was aimed at bringing users up-to-date with all the latest advances to the platform and the practical applications it can be utilised for.

On was appointed to project manage the event, using a combination of the in-house equipment provided by the venue and specialist kit from here in the UK.

A team of three from On worked with the venue’s three in-house staff and a local production crew to deliver the event.

We also supplied technical equipment to enhance the exhibition stands of the event’s main sponsors.

Megan Kingdom-Davies, Event Manager at White October Events, said: “After a number of highly successful events with On Event Production Co, we brought the team in to run the production of our first European conference.

“Their level of professionalism, ability to solve problems quickly and sense of creativity adds such value to our events and each member of the team has an enthusiastic attitude towards reaching a common goal to making our events awesome.

“We couldn’t imagine working without On for our events now.”
