The Brief
Working with our good friends at award winning Muster Agency, we were tasked with providing full production support to a leading premier kitchen manufacturer at its annual master partner awards dinner in London. Around 450 guests were in attendance.
The high-profile event was hosted by TV stars Gabby Logan and Tess Daly.
The agency came up with the idea of a summer garden party theme which included pre-dinner drinks in a walled garden, among trees and live botanicals which guests could pick and add to their drinks.
At one end of the room was a bandstand, through which guests made their way into the main event room once the drinks reception had concluded.
The challenges we faced
The event required a major installation to transform the venue and ensure all the equipment and fabrication was in place, within an incredibly tight timeframe.
A crew of 43 engineers and technicians and six carpenters oversaw the build, which took place between 3am and 10pm the day before the event.
In all, three articulated lorries were packed with 4,502 pieces of equipment, plus 420m of truss, 60 motors and 120m of print required for the install. Every piece of kit was individually tested before it left our warehouse and once it had been used at the event, was retested before being checked back in.
